this is my leaf painting. I used watercolor to paint each of the leaves. What I learned from this project is to add layers to each of the leaves. You have to start with lighter colors then add darker layers. The mood of this painting is calming, and looks like leaves you would see laying around in fall. The art elements are color, form and proportion/ size.
this is my individual hallway drawing of the main hallway. What I learned from this drawing is how to use the vanishing point to draw each of the objects. I also learned how to use value in my hallway drawing as well. My picture shows proportion and size by how the objects go from smaller In the back to larger in the front. I used pencil to shade the objects in my drawing. Those elements are important because the give it a very realistic view of what the hallway actually looks like.
This is my interior room drawing of a living room. It shows a lot of value as you can see from outside the window. If you look at the furniture, you can see great proportions of how they are supposed to be. What i learned is how to use the vanishing point to make the awesome checkered rug. The vanishing point is a great tool to make sure all your items and landscape is perfectly done.
This is a combination of paper folding that my group came up with. I learned that if you fold it perpendicular then you will get a lot of edges that are different and stand up to make it look cool. I see a lot of edges and surfaces on each of these paper foldings as well. I really enjoyed putting together the finished foldings to see if we could make something out of it and try to give it a awesome 3d effect.
