This is a combination of paper folding that my group came up with. I learned that if you fold it perpendicular then you will get a lot of edges that are different and stand up to make it look cool. I see a lot of edges and surfaces on each of these paper foldings as well. I really enjoyed putting together the finished foldings to see if we could make something out of it and try to give it a awesome 3d effect.
This is an original one point perspective drawing, composed of many shapes and objects that give it a 3d effect. In my drawing I see some value between each of the lines. I also see movement and parallel lines within the drawing. I learned they the vanishing point makes the object look 3 dimensional and gives the lines an awesome effect. The lines and objects go together to create a beautiful and unique drawing full of edges lines and movement.
This is my very unique, parallel line drawing. In my drawing, I see a lot of overlap especially with the smaller squares in the background under the larger size parallelograms. What I learned from this drawing is how to add value. The smaller boxes in the back are lighter which makes them look like they are farther in the distance. An art element I learned to add in this drawing is overlap, and size of each parallelogram. The value of each parallel line goes together to create a creative 3d space. This is my artwork called swirling squares. It shows a variety of sizes and lengths that form a beautiful center of focus. What I learned is that if you draw lighter lines vs. darker ones, then the darker lines will seem like they are closer then the lighter ones. My artwork shows a 3d effect because of how I used a lighter square in the middle of my artwork to show like it is farther away from the darker squares. My artwork shows value that creates a sense of movement in my artwork, which is very noticeable.
