This is my sketch of myself. A new skill I learned from this drawing is how to shade to make the drawing look 3d. If you look at the sketch it looks a lot more realistic with the darker shading than it would without it. The main art elements I used is form, lines and shape, which helped create the proportion in the drawing. I really enjoyed this drawing, even though it took me many times to accomplish a successful drawing. This picture shows a sense of happiness and joy, by looking at the expression on my face.
This is my beautiful painting of the trees outside the school. A new skill I learned was to make sure, especially when paining the grass and sky, to add layers on top of each color. It will give it a more realistic and vibrant look. The main art elements I used are color, and mines to create proportion/ sizing and as well as unity and harmony for when they all go together to create one peaceful image. This painting expresses a feeling of delight and calmness, because of the peaceful nature setting it shows.
This is my hallway drawing of the hallway that leads into the Language arts department. A new skill that I learned is you have to have your two vanishing points coming off of the paper, so to make the points you need to connect two pieces of paper to the sides of your drawing and find the two vanishing points. The main art elements are lines and value, which helps visualize proportion and scale in my drawing. The mood of this drawing is a mutual feeling, because even though it is a nice drawing of a hallway, school is not always everyone's favorite place to be at, or draw for a matter of fact. |
