This is my version of my macro still life of a flower with a pair of scissors going across. A new skill that I learned was how to combine two objects and make it look like a whole. I never would have imagined to add an inanimate object to my flower painting, but it actually looks really cool. The main art elements I used is proportion/size, color and unity/harmony. This picture sets a wonder tone, since it is wonder some why I paired scissors with a flower, but I wanted to create the illusion of a flower just being cut.
This is my 3-view self portrait of myself. I used watercolor paints to make this image and have it look so vibrant in color. A new skill that I learned was how to shade properly to make the picture look more 3d. The main art elements in this painting are color, lines, and form to create emphasis and proportion throughout the painting. This pictures sets off a happy mood because of the expression on my face.
